Review: Descent by Tara Fuller

Description

He'll destroy everything and everyone to save her...including himself.
Easton doesn't believe in love. He believes in death. Darkness. Sin. As a reaper for Hell, it's all he's known for more than four hundred years. So when he gets slapped with the job of training the boss's daughter, an angel that knows nothing but joy, he knows he's in for a world of trouble.
Though he's made it clear he wants nothing to do with her outside of work, Gwen will do whatever it takes to get close to the dark and wounded reaper - even taint her angelic image and become a reaper herself. But in all her planning, she forgot to factor in one thing - how far the demons Easton doomed to Hell will go for revenge.
When the dangers of Hell threaten Gwen, Easton will destroy everything and everyone to save her. But as the darkness closes in, will he be able to save himself?

Review:
This story takes you on an emotional rollercoaster through Hell, literally. I totally got caught up in their journey sitting on the edge of my seat as they battle and bartered their way through Hell to save an innocent soul reaped to the wrong destination on accident. This may seem like you classic case of good guy wanting save bad boy but it isn't quit that. Gwen's job as an angel is to bring joy to troubled humans but she goes above and beyound to help the most damaged soul. Her father doesn't realize her potential to help these seemily hopeless souls so he keep her from seeing the true darkenss in the world and the afterlife. Then cue in Easton, the most notorious hell reaper.Gwen can't helpbut feel drawn to him the moment she looks in his eyes. She sees more than what everyone else sees, past all the darkness and pain.Easton feels a pull towards her too but he knows he isn't worth love, compassion, or even one moment of peace that she can offer him so he tries to push her out of his mind. But try as he may, she's he can't shake her from his mind especially when he is assigned to show her the ropes of being a reaper. Now on top of fightings the horros hell they have to fight their growing attraction to each other or be willing to deal with the consquences of such forbidden love, conquences that could leave them forever in agony.
