Review of Unmade by Sarah Rees Brennan

Title: Unmade (The Lynburn Legacy Book #3)
Author: Sarah Rees Brennan
Release Date: September 23,2013

Blurb from Goodreads:

Powerful love comes with a price. Who will be the sacrifice?

Kami has lost the boy she loves, is tied to a boy she does not, and faces an enemy more powerful than ever before. With Jared missing for months and presumed dead, Kami must rely on her new magical link with Ash for the strength to face the evil spreading through her town.

Rob Lynburn is now the master of Sorry-in-the-Vale, and he demands a death. Kami will use every tool at her disposal to stop him. Together with Rusty, Angela, and Holly, she uncovers a secret that might be the key to saving the town. But with knowledge comes responsibility—and a painful choice. A choice that will risk not only Kami’s life, but also the lives of those she loves most.

This final book in the Lynburn Legacy is a wild, entertaining ride from beginning to shocking end.

I received and ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review:

A great ending to a thrilling trilogy.I'm kinda of sad to see our characters go, but I'm sure the Kami is still writing about her life in Sorry-in-the-Vale somewhere. When I first started reading Unmade,it took me a few pages to remember where Jared was at the end of Untold. Our characters are filled with despair of their lose to Rob and the prospects of finding a way to beat him were slim to none. On top of trying to save themselves and the town,Kami is convinced Jared is still alive though everyone else pegs him for dead, and she's determined to find and rescue him,she knows in her soul that he's still alive.
I think I was sitting on the edge of my seat throughout the whole book as obstacle after obstacle is thrown in their way and time after time they persevere. But there is plenty of sorrow and heartache in Sorry-in-the-Vale. Kami discovers one thing that may ultimately destroy Rob and free the town, but the price is high and no one is guaranteed to make it through this darning plan, but if it works all will not be in vain.
